Wow, September just flew by, and I felt like I didn’t accomplish anything. When I started blogging my only goal was to have at least one post a week. I’m someone who just goes with the flow and do things on the spur of the moment. (I know, I know, it’s bad) I’ve seen a lot of bloggers with monthly goals not just for their blog but also some life goals. So I’ve decided to jump right into it, and here are my goals for the month of October.
Get back into a blogging schedule
When I first started blogging months ago, I had a blogging schedule. I post every Wednesdays and Fridays. But after a couple of months, a lot of things got in the way, and my blogging schedule got messed up. I think now is the best time to go back to that blogging routine. Although, it will still be a work in progress and can be overwhelming, hopefully I’ll be able to focus on my blog more.
I am a really timid person, and I have a tendency to sit in a corner of the room and wait for someone to come up to me and introduce themselves. So starting this month, I want to be able to socialize more with other people. And on social media, I have to try and interact with other bloggers on Twitter and Instagram.
Be able to finish a book on my reading list
I have like 6 or 7 books lying on my bookshelf that I have already started reading and never get to finish one. So my goal for this month is to finish at least two of those books. And hopefully by the end of the year, I have read all those books.
I used to have an exercise schedule of at least two or three times a week before. But life got so hectic, and exercising was not on top of my priority list. But I’ve noticed after I stopped, that I’m always so drained out at the end of the day even if I didn’t do anything strenuous. I told myself, starting this month I have to go back to my daily exercise routine, even if it’s just 10 mins, 30 mins or 1 hour.
