Monthly Goals || November (+ Free Printables)

Well, just like that another month has passed. And we’re headed towards the end of the year, who’s excited for the holiday season? I sure am, I look forward to the holiday season every year. I started listing out monthly goals last month, and I can’t really say that it’s a success. Let’s be honest here, not all of us are good at achieving our goals right away, most of it is a work in progress, especially if a lot of things get in the way. But at least I was able to cross off some of them, which is amazing. 🙂

Let’s do a recap of October Goals first.

  1. Get back into a blogging schedule – My goal was to go back to a blogging schedule, and have blog posts up at least twice a week. I didn’t quite achieve this, however, I was able to put up one blog post each week.
  2. Socialize more – Okay, I actually felt like I achieved this in some way. I met quite a few fellow bloggers on Twitter and Instagram. The online community is amazing, don’t you think so?
  3. Be able to finish a book on my reading list – Another one that isn’t quite done. I’m almost done with one of the books though. Almost there 😀
  4. Exercise more –  Okay to be honest, I’m still struggling to find time to workout.

So there’s the recap of October goals, now let’s head over and set my goals for this month:

Exercise More

I’m still going to put this here, I’ll try my best this time to actually achieve this. Do you have any suggestions on how I can effectively achieve this goal? What is your usual exercise routine?

Work on stock photos

I’ve been working on making stock photos. I’m hoping to finish the first few sets this month. My goal is to be able to have it up and hopefully be available at the end of this month.

Plan ahead and write to-do lists

I’m actually getting better at this “planning ahead” thing when it comes to my blog posts. However, I’m still learning the concept of to-do lists. I usually write to-do lists here and there, so my goal is to make one every morning to keep everything organized. So I’ve created this to-do list. If you want to print this to-do list, the link is at the end of this post.

Experiment more with Photography

I’m so happy with what my Instagram feed looks like right now. (Check my Instagram here) But I want to be able to post more creative shots and not only flat lays. And since I’m planning to offer some stock photos, I want to experiment more with photography and to create photos that are unique and eye-catching.

I need to start making monthly goals. I would probably accomplish a lot more. Although this month I switched themes and it broke my site, so that took a good two week chunk out of my life! I did learn how to optimize my site better and I found a different new theme that runs smoothly, so it all worked out.

So glad you found a solution to it. It happened to me once, I accidentally changed the css code and I obviously didn’t know what I was doing. My site just crashed, and had to redo them all over again. Good thing it was just a few days after I launched my blog so it wasn’t a big of a deal.

Your printables are so cute! Good luck with your November goals, I have been doing monthly goal check ins all year and find it really motivating! Start slow with the exercise – maybe a goal of 10 minutes a day, and build from there. It will be part of your lifestyle in no time! 🙂

Thank you so much. I really do appreciate it. It really is motivating after I did Monthly Goals here on my blog. It really helped me to focus on my goals monthly, and to stick to it. I’m actually doing better on exercising now. You’re right about exercising for at least 10 mins and slowly build it up. 🙂

I have been debating this a lot over the past few months and to be honest, I feel like when I only publish one post on my site a week it allows me to write a better post, share it more and be able to reach out to other websites about submissions. I started out wanting to post every day, then 5 times, then for almost a year twice a week. This summer I cut back my requirements to only once a week but occasionally do twice and it has really helped me. Good luck on your November goals! 🙂

I never really want to put up a post every day or at least 5 times, maybe if my blog is my job then maybe I would go for 5 times. But you’re right, having just at least 2 posts a week, it helped me focus on them and not rush them just to have one up. Thank you so much girl! <3

Great goals and good for you for socializing more in the industry!! My goal for this month is to do more task grouping where I get all my tasks and to-do lists organized and done in a group (i.e. schedule out all of my IG photos for the next 2 weeks in one sitting, write up all my posts for the week in one sitting, etc).

That’s actually a great idea. I’ve always wanted to try to schedule out my IG photos, however it seems like my photos is repetitive whenever I do it in one sitting.

It`S already a win -win that you have monthly goals, this way, you can work on tings without going round and round wasting time.
Im sure some goals will be easier than others but again, goals like publishing 2 times a week, I think it`s ok if you can not manage 2 blog posts a week but produce 1 high quality content that your readers enjoy
