Today is my blog’s one year anniversary!! Wow, I didn’t even realize that I’ve been blogging for a year now. One year went by pretty fast. It felt like it was just yesterday when I took the risk and jumped into the blogging world. It was definitely overwhelming at first as I didn’t know what I was doing. But it has always been my passion, so I think that’s what pushed me to keep going.
Wow! Can February get any shorter? It felt like it just slipped by! But no complaints here, March is my favorite month. I may be a little bias though, since it is my birth month. Hahah.
March will definitely be one of the busiest and most eventful month of the year. To start it off, I’ll be celebrating my 24th birthday tomorrow. ☺️ And in a few weeks time my blog is turning 1. I didn’t even notice that I’ve been blogging for a year now. Crazy, how time flies.
Day offs call for a little exploring around Downtown Vancouver. The past few weeks, my work schedule has been so hectic, and it’s been a while since I went out to explore the city. So yesterday, I met up with my good friend Camille and we went around town. Our initial plan was to stroll around, and visit this newly opened coffee shop called Nemesis. Unfortunately, it was already closed when we got to the place.
My friends often ask me how I manage my blog, despite having a day job, and school. Last semester I had the most hectic schedule. But over time I learned to balance work, school and my side hustle. For those of you who don’t know, I have been blogging for almost a year now. On top of that, I have a day job, and I am at school too. At first it was overwhelming, especially during the first few months of blogging, where I didn’t know what the heck I was doing. There were moments where I thought of quitting this side hustle of mine, but I’m glad I didn’t.
It felt just like yesterday when we were counting down into a new year. And now another month has ended. January has been a hectic month for me, thus the reason for skipping my monthly goals for that month. But it felt like, I didn’t do anything productive in the first month of 2017.
The first few months are usually the ones that are packed with lots of projects, and things to finish. Some are just coming back from their vacation, or are still in one of those holiday blues. I know I am, especially right at this moment it’s snowing here in Vancouver, which is a rare sight. The weather is making me miss the holiday season.
