For those of you who might not know, one of the main products in my makeup collection is lippies. I love a good lip liner to go with my dark lipsticks too. A few weeks back, I received a Voxbox from Influenster. I was one of the lucky people who got the chance to try Bite Beauty’s Lip Pencils first.
What’s in my Voxbox?
Two of the lip pencils in shades, #020, and #044. I received two Amuse Bouche Lipstick in shades Whiskey and Honeycomb. There was a pencil sharpener that came with it too.
The Lip Pencils
I might say Bite beauty’s lip pencils are the best one yet. I’m actually impressed with it. It’s so pigmented, it’s so creamy and glides easily on your lips. However, because the lip pencils are creamy, the tip of the lip pencils breaks off easily after sharpening it. But I can say that I love it more than my MAC lipliners. Although I don’t really use lipliners for light shades, the lip pencil in shade #020 is perfect for any nude lipsticks. While the shade #044 is perfect for deep reds, burgundy or any dark shades.
It’s my first time trying Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche Lipstick. I’ve tried Bite Beauty’s Lush Fruit Lip Gloss before, but I didn’t really like it. So I didn’t have high expectations for their lipsticks. But boy was I wrong, it’s amazing! I can’t believe I haven’t tried it before. It’s pigmented, creamy, and it smells amazing. It’s also moisturizing, but it is not glossy, which is perfect since I love my lipsticks either satin or matte finish.
Will I recommend it?
Yes, 100%. If you love a good lipliner, Bite Beauty is worth trying. The lip pencil and the lipstick complement each other. They both stay on the lips longer, and it’s not sticky. I’ve been using the nude shade almost every day. It has been the best nude shade that I’ve tried so far.
