My friend, Camille (from Captivating Soul) and I, started a series called #Exploring604. Where we explore the streets of the Lower Mainland and share what we’ve discovered on our blog.
So in today’s blog post, I will be sharing about the newly opened 720 sweets branch in Richmond. This branch is located at 1121-8328 Capstan Way, by Bubble World and The Captain Boil. I’ve never been to their Vancouver branch, so I’m really happy when I found out they opened a new branch close to where I live.
It has quite a different vibe to it, the interior is really simple but artsy and bright. 720 sweets offers soft-serve ice cream served with creative toppings and a nitrogen smoke, all priced at $5.95. However, the only downside is that the ice cream only fills 3/4 of the cup. It is placed in a separate cup, while the dry ice is kept on the bottom of this cup, with a little bit of hot water to add the fog effect to it. They also offer their signature drinks, pints of ice cream, and ice cream sandwiches.
As of right now, they only offer three of their classic flavours and a special one. They have:
- Milk’ee (Milk Tea) – chocolate stick, almonds, caramel boba and caramel sauce
- Classic (Cereal Milk) – butter cookie, graham cracker bits, condensed milk
- Matcha Madness (Green Tea) – mochi, red bean, rice krispies, condensed milk
- Nutella – chocolate drizzle, brownies, waffle
During my visit, I ordered the special flavour which is the nutella, I really like it and it’s not really sweet. Well, I guess you can never go wrong with chocolate. I’ll definitely go back, since I’m curious what the other flavours taste like.
