One of the things I love to do is to travel. I don’t really care if it’s out of the country or just another city in our province. There was a time when I was so close to go backpacking. Well, obviously I didn’t do it. I wasn’t mentally and financially prepared for it. Hahah. As much as I love Vancouver, sometimes I just want to hop on a plane and leave. I am in dire need of a vacation right now, but I can’t have one until March next year. So in today’s blog post, I’m going to be sharing five places that I would love to visit.
Manjuyod Sandbar, Philippines
One of the places on top of my bucket list is Manjuyod Sandbar in the Philippines. I saw this place first on a video that was posted by a Canadian Vlogger, Christian LeBlanc. He was able to capture the beauty of it using his drone. He named it the “Maldives of the Philippines”. After watching the video, I knew I had to put it on my bucket list. It’s like a peaceful paradise in the middle of the bay. If you want to see the breathtaking and spectacular ‘Maldives – like’ paradise of the Philippines, watch it here.
Maldives has always been on my bucket list. There’s something about it that makes me want to experience its beauty. Maybe it’s the pristine water or the relaxing atmosphere of this paradise that drew me in. As much as I love living in a city, sometimes it can be chaotic. This is a place where I would love to just relax and enjoy the breathtaking atmosphere and peaceful sanctuary that it can offer.
Santorini and Mykonos, Greece
Their culture, the amazing white and blue structures, and their food. Do I need to say more? I’ve always been so curious what Santorini, and Mykonos looks like when you’re actually there. I don’t know why, but whenever I think of Greece, specifically Santorini and Mykonos, I always imagine it to be a good place for a romantic escapade. Don’t you think so?
New York, USA
Oh New York! I think the majority of us always dreamed of visiting this place even once in our life. I’ve always been a city girl, so I’ve always loved seeing photos of NYC’s skyline. I just want to experience NYC’s elegant lifestyle, and the chaotic streets of Times Square. One of the things I want to do when I visit NYC is to watch a Broadway show.
I’ve been in Canada for 6 years now, and I’ve never had the chance to explore other provinces of Canada. And one of the provinces that I would love to visit is Quebec. I’ve heard great things about Quebec City, especially during the Christmas season, which is why it’s something I want to be able to witness. The thought of a White Christmas is really inviting. haha.
