Blogger Outreach Programs to Connect You with Brands

Blogger Outreach Programs to Connect You with Brands

Happy Friday y’all! I’ve started collaborating with brands, after 6 months of blogging, but at first it didn’t come from an outreach program. For some bloggers who are just starting out, you might wonder how in the world do other bloggers connect with brands. The answer is simple, they connect through outreach programs.

Blogger outreach programs make it easier for both brands and bloggers to connect with each other. So, what exactly is an outreach program, you may ask? Brand Meets Blog simply described it as

Blogger outreach, also known as blogger relations, is quite simply businesses working with bloggers to create genuine, authentic content to promote a product, brand or service.

So with outreach programs, brands can easily select bloggers that will perfectly fit their products/brand. For me personally, I find these programs really useful and easier to connect with brands.

Here are some of the ones that I’ve signed up to (in no particular order):

  1. Shopping Links
  2. The Cirqle (you can also download their mobile app, and is available for both IOS and android devices)
  3. Obviously
  4. Rep Influencer Marketing (mobile app)
  5. Tribe (mobile app)

My all time favourite is Shopping Links, you have to simply set up your account and connect all your social media accounts and they do everything for you. Your Shopping Links profile has all your statistics, which you can look at yourself. They help you connect with brands that matches your niche. And the best thing is that you don’t need thousands of followers to qualify for campaigns. I recommend it for small bloggers who wants to start working and collaborating with brands.

There’s a huge spectrum of blogger outreach programs out there. But the ones listed on here are perfect for small bloggers alike. One of the most common misconceptions with collaborating with brands is that you need thousands of followers to start. But most bloggers don’t understand that brands overlook the number of followers you have, but focuses on your engagement and the impact you have on your followers.

Lastly, brands itself can reach out to you if they think your blog perfectly fits their brand/products, so be prepared to receive tons of emails. A little heads up though, make sure to research about the brands and communicate with them very well before accepting any collaborations.

Have you signed up to any blogger outreach programs? Comment down your favourites, I’ll check them out. 🙂

I know some brands – and even outreach programs – want big numbers. This isn’t always true though, so it’s great that you’ve found places that work for you. I’ll have to check some of these out. I pinned this too!

That’s true, I had to look everywhere just to find the ones that didn’t require a specific followers count. Thank you so much, and thank you for pinning them 🙂

Thank you so much for the tips and links! I knew that these do exist but I’ve never participated any. However, I got direct emails from companies weekly but most of those do not match with my blog’s brand image. Most of the collaborations I’ve done have started with me emailing the company directly. Anyhow, I will check those programs out, it would be interesting to find more collaboration options.

Btw is there some requirements for bloggers in those? Like should you have a company around your blog or separate paypal for it or something like that? Some programs I checked earlier had quite a lot of those requirements.

Hi Nora, thank you for checking out my post. Most of the programs listed in here have less requirements and are very specific. You don’t need a separate paypal for it, you can just use your own paypal. I find that these programs are actually really easy to sign up to. 🙂 And most don’t need to have a logo that you have to put on your blog.

I didn’t know about those apps. I’m careful not to do too many sponsored posts because I want everything to match my coaching brand. But I will still definitely explore because these apps seem really interesting

Yes, you definitely can. I was able to work with some brands through these programs with just a little over 300 followers on instagram and less than 100 visitors on my blog. And now that my account has been growing organically, there are more endless opportunities out there. Goodluck! 🙂
