Happy Friday y’all! I’ve started collaborating with brands, after 6 months of blogging, but at first it didn’t come from an outreach program. For some bloggers who are just starting out, you might wonder how in the world do other bloggers connect with brands. The answer is simple, they connect through outreach programs.
Blogger outreach programs make it easier for both brands and bloggers to connect with each other. So, what exactly is an outreach program, you may ask? Brand Meets Blog simply described it as
Blogger outreach, also known as blogger relations, is quite simply businesses working with bloggers to create genuine, authentic content to promote a product, brand or service.
So with outreach programs, brands can easily select bloggers that will perfectly fit their products/brand. For me personally, I find these programs really useful and easier to connect with brands.
Here are some of the ones that I’ve signed up to (in no particular order):
- Shopping Links
- The Cirqle (you can also download their mobile app, and is available for both IOS and android devices)
- Rep Influencer Marketing (mobile app)
- Tribe (mobile app)
My all time favourite is Shopping Links, you have to simply set up your account and connect all your social media accounts and they do everything for you. Your Shopping Links profile has all your statistics, which you can look at yourself. They help you connect with brands that matches your niche. And the best thing is that you don’t need thousands of followers to qualify for campaigns. I recommend it for small bloggers who wants to start working and collaborating with brands.
There’s a huge spectrum of blogger outreach programs out there. But the ones listed on here are perfect for small bloggers alike. One of the most common misconceptions with collaborating with brands is that you need thousands of followers to start. But most bloggers don’t understand that brands overlook the number of followers you have, but focuses on your engagement and the impact you have on your followers.
Lastly, brands itself can reach out to you if they think your blog perfectly fits their brand/products, so be prepared to receive tons of emails. A little heads up though, make sure to research about the brands and communicate with them very well before accepting any collaborations.
Have you signed up to any blogger outreach programs? Comment down your favourites, I’ll check them out. 🙂
