    My friends often ask me how I manage my blog, despite having a day job, and school. Last semester I had the most hectic schedule. But over time I learned to balance work, school and my side hustle. For those of you who don’t know, I have been blogging for almost a year now. On top of that, I have a day job, and I am at school too. At first it was overwhelming, especially during the first few months of blogging, where I didn’t know what the heck I was doing.     It felt just like yesterday when we were counting down into a new year. And now another month has ended. January has been a hectic month for me, thus the reason for skipping my monthly goals for that month. But it felt like, I didn’t do anything productive in the first month of 2017.

    The first few months are usually the ones that are packed with lots of projects, and things to finish. Some are just coming back from their vacation, or are still in one of those holiday blues. I know I am, especially right at this moment it’s snowing here in Vancouver, which is a rare sight. The weather is making me miss the holiday season.

    Oh my gosh! I can’t believe that this will be my very last blog post for the year 2016. How time flies, in less than 2 days we will be counting down into a new year. Looking back into the year, I’ve accomplished a lot. I was able to balance school, work and my side hustle. I guess if you really love what you’re doing, you’ll be able to accomplish a lot, even if it gets overwhelming at times.

    As we say goodbye to 2016, and hello to 2017, we start to think about what the new year has in store for us. For many of us, we start to make our resolutions. But how exactly can we stick to it? Making a new year’s resolution has always been a struggle, for me personally. I will always be so good for the first couple of months and eventually just drift away. Hahah. Over the years I managed to stick to it better than the past years.
